Jake Bugg Lighting Bolt- video

Jake Bugg,is a perfect example of a male artist in my chosen genre Indie Acoustic. This music video especially has very stereotypical aspects which link with my music genre. The old style/ vintage edit on the video is very typical to this style of music and links with traits of people who listens to Indie music, the interest in vintage/retro. Jake Bugg also plays the instruments which is hugely common in Indie Acoustic artists, especially the guitar which he plays in this video. Also Jake fits well with the typical age range of people who listen to this style of music (older teens and young adults) as he is only 19.

Laura Marling My Manic and I- Video

Laura Marling is a prime example of an artist in my genre I have chosen for my music magazine, Indie Acoustic. This clip shows the stereotypical vintage/retro feel these artists are into, by the effect of the actual video and in what she is wearing. Her music is very lyrical and often in Indie Acoustic tracks a guitar is used. The stereotypical age of someone who is into Indie Acoustic is older teens and young adults, Laura Marling fits this perfectly being early 20's herself.
